Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? Is anyone there?

It's seriously been 3 1/2 years since I even thought about blogging again!! So much has happened in those 3 1/2 years, so much has changed, and so many fun adventures! It's almost a little daunting to think about what I've missed putting on here! But I guess I will start from today and go forward, and  try to catch up on the huge life moments that have happened as well as little life moments! There have been many!! Our family has changed and grown in so many ways!

I loved writing down all we did as a family! You think "oh I will never forget when we did that", but you do. Sometimes I can't even remember words I want to say!! There no way I'll remember all the moments that seem to be whizzing by me {moments not longer fly....the whiz by}! So I am back at it, preserving my family's legacy and craziness!!

Wow!!! Time flies....

when you're living life and having fun!!! May?? May?? Was that really the last time I blogged? Yep it was and yep we've been as busy as ever!!! I am just going to give a run down of the things that have happened at the funny farm.....

July ~ I got a job!! I work as a customer service rep. for Fin Fun Mermaid. It's a local company that sells mermaid tail and fins and accessories!!! It's an awesome place to work! Rae and I went to girls camp over to Paris Springs Bear Lake area!

It was my last girls camp! Shortly after we got home I was released after 4 years!!!! It was awesome and I loved being Young Women's president and I miss it like crazy! But there's a time and season for everything!! I am now teaching Relief Society!!! John and I also celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary! We had a nice dinner and went and took a photo by the temple....

August......
August 9th ~ Rae turned 15! Wow!! My baby girls is 15! It was a low-key birthday! She is growing into such a beautiful young woman!!! We love her to pieces!!!

August 14th ~ the kids started school! It was a bummer to go back so early but it's great to get out in May!

September ~ was a month spent getting back into routines....dance, gymnastics, school! Hannah started driver-ed and had to be to school Wednesday-Friday at 6:00 am! I also started another job!! I clean the temple 2-3 night a week from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am.! I LOVE it!!! It is so peaceful! It's hard work but I have had the chance to receive some really neat answers to some prayers and questions I've had!!! Spud Day was an absolutely beautiful day!!! We enjoyed the parade, had about 29 free bake potatoes and ate way too much! And ended the day by going to the demolition derby!!! We also had the first week of Spud Harvest, the last week of September!!!

October ~ We continues another week of Spud vacation. Jace had Volley Buff! Where the senior and junior guys play volley ball!! It was fun!!! Can't believe J is a senior!!!

Then up next was the RUSSET OLYMPICS!!!! Where each class dresses a different colors {seniors - black, juniors - red, sophomores - white, and freshman - gray}!! And everyone deck themselves out in their classes colors and they have crazy competitions between classes!!!

It was Homecoming and J asked a sweet girl, Hannah Hanson! They went 4-wheeling up to Island Park for the day and then to dinner and the dance that night....

They are an awesome bunch of kids!!!

Our missionary turned 21 on October 26th!!! Wow!!! We have a 21 year old!!! He had a great day and was spoiled all week long by the members up in Canada!!! We love and miss him so very much!!! But he is doing so great!!! 114 days!!!

And this happened.....
Baby girl got her permit!!! She's now driving all over the place!!! With an adult of course!! She's a great driver! 5 months or so and she'll have her license!!!

J finished his senior project! he built a tree stand! It was alot of work, most that was done last minute! but it's done and it turned out great! He hasn't' gotten his final grade on it but it looks pretty good! next is his senior paper {have I mentioned I can't believe he's a senior}!!!! They had to do a presentation during parent-teacher conferences, stay there and explain and answer questions about their project, from 3:30-6:30! And wouldn't ya know it, I forgot to take pictures of his presentation! It looked really nice!!! But here's some of his photos of his work.....

We wrapped up the month celebrating Halloween! My dad had a pretty awesome day this past Friday, Halloween Day! He had the ribbon cutting of the new fire station!! He's been working on this for a couple of years! One of the bonds last year didn't pass but he didn't give up!! He has worked hard for this along with many others to bring it to pass and this Friday....it finally did! It was awesome to be there and support dad!!!

That night J went to a college party in Rexburg! He dressed up as a missionary! Hannah hung out at Abi's, and Gene went trick-or-treating around out neighborhood and then went with her friend Alysa up to Alysa's aunts for more trick-or-treating and to spend the night and play!! She wanted to be a Pink Lady from Grease! She made a darling little pink lady!

John and I were kid-less!!! Which was super weird!! So we hung out at the fire station with mom and dad who were there passing out candy to the community and then headed to Rupe's in Blackfoot for dinner!!! It was a low-key night!!

So there's 4 months wrapped up in an incomplete nut shell!!! Add a few camping trips, an awesome 4th of July! Picnics, walks, laying under the stars, cook-outs, bike rides, and many lazy days of summer!!! Which after today, has surely come to an end!! Winter is right around the corner!! It's cold and rainy today!!!  but it's nice to have a warm home filled with warm bodies I love to share it with!!!
